I was really hot yesterday about Home Depot's genius decision to start stocking trees and small shrubs. I could barely communicate to you the blatant fact that the quality of their trees was almost laughable....in the sense of "I just can't believe it"....laughable.

Most of the trees and shrubs I have seen at HD and Lowe's are all sub 'B' grade. It is easy to sell cheap plants cheap.

that's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Should have told you all that the trees were approximately 2.75" caliper sitting in a 45 gallon container, priced at $99.99. Totally thought they tried to pack in what they could. Shame

I bet they were cut by the grower to fit the truck they were shipped in.
