Tree Topping at Home Depot
I was really hot yesterday about Home Depot's genius decision to start stocking trees and small shrubs. I could barely communicate to you the blatant fact that the quality of their trees was almost laughable....in the sense of "I just can't believe it"....laughable.

Comment by Zachary Stanifer on March 20, 2010 at 2:57pm - Most of the trees and shrubs I have seen at HD and Lowe's are all sub 'B' grade. It is easy to sell cheap plants cheap.

Comment by Katie Ketelsen on March 19, 2010 at 12:14pm - that's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Should have told you all that the trees were approximately 2.75" caliper sitting in a 45 gallon container, priced at $99.99. Totally thought they tried to pack in what they could. Shame
